Ecogrow Bio-Compost

Ecogrow bio-compost is a unique blend of Coir pith, bio-stimulants and soil microbial enhancers.

Coir pith is the coconut husk after the fibre has been removed from the coconut. Coir pith has exceptional water retention properties and its high lignin content results in a very slow rate decomposition thus ensuring a long life soil conditioner.

Bio-stimulants are materials that promote plant growth by stimulating hormonal activity. This activity is essential for root formation, cell division, and plant health and stress tolerance.

Microbial enhancers are naturally occurring microbes that augment existing microbes present in the soil and provide it with organic matter. Soil, then becomes more fertile and plants can absorb balanced nutrients which in turn, makes them more healthy.

Combined together, Ecogrow is a unique eco-friendly Bio-compost which:

How to Prepare

Disks

Place as many disks as required in a bucket, wheelbarrow or other container. Add approximately 1 litre of water to each Ecogrow disk to produce 1.25 litres of compost. Each disk expands to about 10 times its dry volume.

Coins

Coins are ideal for growing seedlings. Place 1 to 3 seeds in the centre of each coin, stand the coin in one quarter inch of water. Top up water as required. Remove weaker seedlings. Pot on when appropriate.

Where to Use

Hanging Baskets: Excellent long life water retention reduces drying out in summer and produces vibrant plants displays. Use Ecogrow alone or with a 50:50 mix with other compost.

Garden Annuals: Ecogrow retains moisture, slowly releases fertiliser, promotes growth and protects against frost stress. Dig a handful of Ecogrow around the roots of annuals; double the amount for perennials.

Shrubs and Young Trees: Ecogrow is ideal for strengthening roots and promoting growth. The need for watering is reduced and seedlings have a protective mulch to help against drought conditions. Drop 2/3 disks in the planting hole; add 2-3 litres of water and backfill the hole with soil.

Soil Conditioner: In heavy clay, hard or sandy soil, texture can be improved by incorporating Ecogrow into the soil. Add as required to produce a crumbly, easily broken up soil for improved gardening.

Vegetables and Fruits: Ecogrow improves yields, plant growth and disease resistance. Use Ecogrow alone or mix 50:50 with soil.

Lawns: Ecogrow retains water to keep surface roots moist and reduce stress. Its antioxidant properties help to create a healthy green lawn. Scatter dry or prepared Ecogrow across the lawn, rake in and water as appropriate.

General Use: Use Ecogrow as general multipurpose compost either alone or mixed with other organic composts, loam or sharp sand.

Eco-Grow Microbial Stimulant

Eco-Grow Microbial Stimulant is a totally natural and organic plant growth stimulant and soil microbial enhancer. It is highly effective at all stages of plant life, particularly in enhancing nutrient uptake by plant roots thus promoting healthier and stronger plants. It also enhances enzymatic and hormonal activity, which accelerates cell division and promotes increased growth. In soil it increases microbial activity and destroys harsh chemicals introduced into the environment.

Eco-Grow Microbial Stimulant (Eco-Grow MS) contains high concentrations of both humic and fulvic acids, along with marine plants, enzymes and micro nutrients. It is highly effective as a plant growth stimulant, soil enhancer, chelating/colloidal agent, and as a disease suppressant. When used as directed your plants will respond faster and better than you have ever expected.

Eco-Grow MS is used:

• To grow healthy plants in a clean environment.
• To suppress soil and root pathogens.
• To neutralize pesticides in plants and soil.
• To reduce toxic chemical damage in the soil.
• As a microbial growth stimulant.

How to use

Eco-Grow MS comes in concentrated liquid form. For the most effective use it should be diluted with water as follows:

Enhancing Seed Germination

Make up a solution 1 part Eco-Grow MS to 3 parts water. Soak the seeds for 1 hour prior to planting, and then plant as normal.

Root Dip

Make up a solution of 1 part Eco-Grow MS to 4 parts water. Soak the roots for 2 hours prior to planting. Repeat the treatment by adding a 1/100 solution to water soluble fertilizer and apply weekly, or as needed.

Foliar Spray

Make up a solution of 1 part Eco-Grow MS to 100 parts water and thoroughly spray all foliage. Repeat every 2 weeks or as needed.

Mixing with Potting Media

Use Eco Grow bio-compost which is already impregnated with Eco-Grow MS.

Enhance Microbial Growth/Soil Drench

Make up a solution of 1 part Eco-Grow MS to 50 parts water. Drench the soil thoroughly, and repeat monthly.

Reduce Chemical Damage

Make up a solution of 1 part Eco-Grow MS to 50 parts water. Drench the soil thoroughly and repeat weekly.

Growing Mushrooms

Make up a solution of 1 part Eco-Grow MS to 50 parts water. Drench with 5 litres per 100 square feet. Repeat monthly, or as needed.

Improve the Composting Process

Make up a solution of 1 part Eco-Grow MS to 4 parts water. Apply 10 litres of solution per cubic yard of compost. Turn every 2-4 weeks until ready for use.

Eco-Turf

Eco-Turf is an organically based bio fertilizer blend which is formulated for use on nutrients in a base of humic acids, enzymes, and bio energy products which are essential to vigorous leaf, stem and root growth. For use an all types of turf grass, both warm and cool season.

Application Instructions:

Eco-Turf is highly concentrate and should be mixed with water to ensure adequate coverage.
Turf: Apply 5-10 gallons per acre in 50-100 gallons of water or for smaller areas, apply 16-32 ounces per 1000 square feet in 5-10 gallons of water. Water thoroughly.

Frequency:

Apply ever 2-4 weeks sprayer or through irrigation system.
